What is CBT Therapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, eating disorders, and severe mental illness.


CBT is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle. CBT aims to help you deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by breaking them down into smaller parts.


CBT aims to stop negative cycles such as these by breaking down things that make you feel bad, anxious or scared. By making your problems more manageable, CBT can help you change your negative thought patterns and improve the way you feel.

Life Coaching

As A Life Coach, I can aid my clients in improving their relationships, careers, and day-to-day lives. I help you clarify your goals, and identify the obstacles holding you back, and then develop strategies to overcome each obstacle.


At times you can lose your motivation and become stuck in a rut.


There may be goals you want to set, or complete or you may want to change your lifestyle to a more healthier one but you just can't get the motivation to do so. It could be certain anxieties or lack of self esteem holding you back. Coaching sessions can help you overcome your anxieties and help to build your confidence to make those necessary changes in your day-to-day life.

HOLISTIC NUTRITIONIST?

WHAT IS A HOLISTIC NUTRITIONIST? A Holistic Nutritionist is a health care practitioner, and part of the natural health community. I have been a Complementary Therapist for many years now as well as providing Life Coaching for my clients. Holistic Nutrition goes hand in hand with the other therapies I provide. With Holistic Nutrition the focus is on balancing and nourishing the body, mind and spirit, primarily through nutrient dense foods, as well as considering supplements, herbs, and stress management techniques to attain optimal health. As a Holistic Nutritionist I will cover all aspects of your health, including your health history, current medications, emotional and mental wellbeing, current diet and lifestyle, stress, environmental considerations and more. Through a consultation I will listen to your concerns and use techniques to get to the root of your health concerns and create an individualised plan to help you gain optimal health.

If I consider it beneficial, I will refer my clients to other healthcare practitioners.

As a Holistic Nutritionist I consider the clients individual needs working to encompass the emotional, physical and spiritual health of my client. Holistic Nutritionists believe the nutrients obtained from food are essential for the natural processes that constantly take place inside the body. Taking the approach to optimal health using nourishing whole foods, supplements, and herbs. It can be beneficial when incorporating mindfulness as well, to address certain health conditions but this will vary with each client.

Holistic Nutrition can help you with many health concerns like digestion problems, IBS, hormonal imbalances, PMS, menopause, eczema and other skin issues, weight loss, auto-immune disorders, blood sugar management and more.
